Established in 2006 by actor and writer Ben Faulks (CBeebies' Mr. Bloom), Plunge Boom today is run by Ben and Mimi Faulks, along with a steadfast troupe of Actors & Artists.
Plunge Boom have toured throughout the UK, France, Germany, Canada, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Luxembourg & Belgium to over 300 events and counting with nearly 1000 tour dates.
Additionally our work has expanded onto other mediums including Children's Television, Interactive Installations, children's workshops & educational resources for curriculum linked Early Years Education.

We’re super excited to announce that coming soon, in 2023, Plunge Boom launches the long awaited ‘Let’s Grow online early years educational resource!’ Children effortlessly learn through play with our engaging, curriculum linked, multi-media programme for Early Years Foundation Stage, led by CBeebies best loved gardener Mr. Bloom along with his friends the Nannies and their family of adorable baby fruits and vegetables!

A fantastic Summer was had by all on our ‘Let’s Grow Comes to Calderdale’ tour! The babies had an absolute blast meeting lots of lovely new people and the Nannies loved bringing the pop-up allotment & their magic shed! The babies cheekily played hide & seek around all the towns and the children helped find them, successfully winning awards and breaking treasure trail records! What fun we had!!!!
The Vegetable Nannies love to celebrate Christmas. From festive costumes for the fruit and vegetable babies, to miniature Christmas light switch-on’s, the Nannies have it covered. The Allotment installation and The Vegetable Nannies walkabout are delightful additions to festive event programmes, offering interactive, comical, seasonal content that is guaranteed to bring laughter and merriment to Christmas events large and small.

BOING
BOING, our newest Plunge Boom show is out on tour in 2020.
BOING is a character who makes noises but never speaks. His whole body is full of sound that’s literally bursting to get out, be it from his fingers or his feet. A cheeky chap with an insatiable curiosity for the world around him, BOING invites you to see & hear the world from his own unique perspective. A show for all ages combining humour with pathos.
